Well, we are becoming old pros at this whole surgery thing. Dan went back to work in Jan after his surgery and was doing his run to Colorado with another driver. Well, on the second day of the trip he wound up in the ER in Cheyenne, WY. He had some tests done there which were inconclusive, but all signs pointed to his gallbladder. He ended up having to fly home the following day and got right in with his doctor. They ran some more tests and eventually it did show that his gallbladder was not functioning correctly. So, yesterday we went in again for surgery. It was a little nicer being more prepared for this one, but nothing makes surgery "nice". We love his surgeon and she took very good care of him. He got home from the hospital today and is resting well. Two surgeries in a little over a month...we asked his surgeon if we get a discount for being such a frequent patient. However, the surgeon was able to look around in there and made sure there were no other organs that looked like they had anything wrong and she also looked at everything from the previous surgery and everything is healing nicely. We are hoping that this is the end of the health problems for Dan since we have our little pickle due in six weeks. Hopefully that will be the next time we will see the inside of a hospital.
